With wife Anna Dorothy Harms:
As shown on his WWI Draft Registration Card, Nathaniel was born in Santa Barbara, California, a town just north of Ventura. Nathan's father had just moved the family out to California from Nebraska (see obituary on George Lincoln). Although registered for the draft, it is unknown if Nathaniel served in WWI.
Nathaniel married Anna Dorothy Harms when he was 23 and she was not quite 19 (she was born 05-Nov-1894). Their daughter, Viva Louise Lincoln, was born about 2 years later. By the 1920 US Census, Nathaniel worked as an auto mechanic. Nathaniel died at age 83. His wife, Anna Dorothy Harms, died about 14 years later on 22-Jan-1988 at the age of 93.
