As stated in the obituary of her father, Grace died at age 12, cause unknown. As she is not listed in the 1900 US Federal Census, she must have died before 1900, so she was born before 1888. Her parents married on 22-Jun-1881, so the earliest she is likely to have been born is 1882. She probably was born in Scotia, Nebraska, where her parents lived between 1882 - 1888, and as they moved to California in 1889, she probably died there.
