Warren is named after his father's younger brother that died at age 2 (see Warren Ervin Lincoln, born 1871). Warren's birthdate comes from the 1900 US Census and his WWI Draft Registration Card. It is unknown if he actually served during the war. Warren lived in Ord, Nebraska as shown in the 1930 US Census, and his occupation is listed as a garage mechanic. Ord is a city about 20 miles northwest of Scotia on the North Loup River. Warren married Anna when he was 30 and she 28 (from the 1930 US Census). Warren died around age 86 in Grand Island, Nebraska, a city about 30 miles southeast of Scotia, Nebraska, next to the Platte River.
