Notes
John Lincoln was a farmer and oil producer in his life, according to Larry Combs, a great-grandson of John Lincoln. He married at age 27. His wife, Georgia Ella Atherton, was about 19. All their children were born in Duke Center, Pennsylvania (Duke Center is a village in the Otto Township), so they moved to that area shortly after marriage. They moved to Ohio sometime between 1910 and 1920 according to US Census data. John died in Ohio at the age of 60. His youngest child, Florence, was only 12 at the time. John's wife, Georgia Ella Atherton, died on 04-Nov-1958 at age 90, surviving John by 37 years. Both John and Georgia are buried in Westerville, Ohio, according to notes from Larry Combs. The exact dates of birth, death, and marriage come from the notes of Larry Combs. Marriage date also comes from "Hodgdon, Maine, 1832 - 1982, Sesquicentennial Album", although the date quoted there is 25-Oct-1887.
